Honey Bread Pudding

8 cups egg bread, cubed
1 cup seedless raisins
3 cups milk
1 cup evaporated milk
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Arrange bread and raisins in bottom of lightly greased, shallow 2 quart baking dish. Beat remaining ingredients in large bowl until well blended; pour over bread cubes in baking dish and let stand 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed.

Make some great flavored vinegar by loosely filling a jar full of green washed herbs like basil, thyme, lemon verbena, chervil or rosemary, garlic or garlic chives and covering them with hot vinegar. Let steep like tea for a month. Take out the used herbs put a few pretty sprigs into some fancy jars or bottles with corks or caps and "walla"  Beautiful Gourmet gifts!

Bake at 375 degrees F 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.  (If using glass dish lower temperature 25 degrees).
